Designing Smart Farming services to improve the financial efficiency of olive cultivation

In short

The Kotinos project aims to utilize cutting-edge technologies for the development and implementation of Smart Farming solutions in olive cultivation, with a view to reducing production costs and simultaneously improving the quality of the product.

Through the proposed approach, the goal is to minimize pesticide residues in the product, as well as to reduce the environmental footprint of cultivation, thus achieving the harmonization of the applied cultivation technique with the international market requirements and contributing to address climate change.

NEUROPUBLIC is the coordinator of the Kotinos project, which is implemented within the framework of the Rural Development Programme (RDP) of Greece 2014-2020 and is co-financed by the European Union – European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD).
