The Greening application supports the displaying of directives, which include the obligations that stem from the regulatory requirements and which have to be realized in their entirety, in order for the beneficiaries to receive 100% of the green subsidy without penalties.

In short

The “greening” of the cultivations constitutes a separate, additional subsidy for the beneficiaries of the basic subsidy. It concerns all producers that implement agricultural practices beneficial toward the environment and the climate, which go beyond the obligations of cross-compliance.

The beneficial toward the environment and the climate agricultural practices are the following:

Preservation of permanent pastures
Diversification of cultivations
Existence of ecological focus areas.

The sum of the aforementioned obligations have been codified and input in the “GS Greening – Greening” application, in the form of rules, the adherence to which is necessary for receiving the Green Subsidy according to the current regulatory framework.

Highlights

Additionally, in the case of the practice that has to do with the existence of ecological focus areas, besides the displaying of directives, the capability is provided to carry out alternative scenarios, aiming at satisfying the whole of the requirement on at least 5% of the beneficiary’s acreage for the obligation in question.

The usefulness of the application in question lies in the timely updating of the beneficiaries of the green subsidy, and the providing of personalized advice in the form of a technical directive in a simplified and easy-to-understand manner.

The end-goal that stems from its utilization has to do the ensuring that the beneficiary will receive the sum of the green subsidy, with the smallest possible loss of cultivating acreage.
