Since 2006, NEUROPUBLIC has been the main provider of the national Payment and Control Agency (OPEKEPE) with regard to the development of Information Systems that have to do with the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) and Rural Development.

In short

The Payment and Control Agencies are legal entities, controlled by the government at each given time, which are responsible for monitoring the European subsidies towards the rural population of the European Union’s countries (E.U.).

The Payment and Control Agency for Guidance and Guarantee Community Aid (OPEKEPE) was founded in 1998 and certified as a payment agency on 2nd September 2002. It is supervised by the Ministry of Rural Development and Food (MRDF).

The Agency pays approximately 3 billion euros of community subsidies to about 900,000 beneficiaries, including farmers, agricultural cooperatives, export companies etc.
